The episode of Imlie starts with Anu unveiling Aditya and Imlie’s picture and asks everyone where Imlie’s husband is. Aditya says he is Imlie’s husband. Pankaj asks Aditya if it is a joke. Aditya says it’s not a joke, he tried to tell them about his marriage, but the situation did not let him. Harish asks Imlie what she has done. Aditya says Imlie did not do anything wrong. Aparna recollects finding all married women’s stuff in Imlie’s bag and some related incidents. Aditya asks everyone to listen to him and then react. Aparna goes to Aditya and slaps him. Malini asks Aparna what she is doing. Anu says Aparna is Aditya’s mom and did the right thing for the first time.
Dev asks Anu to shut up and takes her away. Malini tells Aparna that she heard the story from Anu, but she should listen to Aditya and Imlie’s side of the stories before judging them. Malini leaves. Aparna says she thought Malini betrayed Aditya but it was Aditya who betrayed Malini and his family.
Aditya breaks the chair and lights fire to it. He holds Imlie’s hand and walks the wedding round. While taking the rounds he explains to his family that he and Imlie were forced to marry each other at gunpoint. Aditya says he wanted to tell his family, but the situation did not allow him. Aditya says he realised that he is in love with Imlie, but it was too late, as he got married to Malini too. Aparna says Imlie is their servant. Aparna says she will never accept Imlie as her Bahu.
Nishant says he did not know that Aparna would react in such a way. Nishant says it is not Imlie’s mistake nor Aditya’s mistake. Aparna asks Aditya why he did not inform them about it. Aditya says he just couldn’t say. Aditya says he cannot bear it if anyone insults his wife. Pankaj says Malini is Aditya’s wife and not Imlie.
