The episode of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi starts with Sanjana congratulating Dev and shaking hands with him. She doesn’t leave his hand so he looks at the breakfast. Sanjana offers him but he refuses saying he had breakfast in the car. Vicky says that it is big news so they should celebrate it by throwing a party. Sanjana says she will arrange the party. Dev says she already has a lot of burden so she won’t be able to do it. Sanjana assures him that she will manage. Vicky says she might have new ideas so Sanjana should arrange the party, so Dev agrees. Shuv insists on having noodles. Dev comes and asks what is happening. Ishwari says Shuv wants to have noodles for dinner but Sonakshi will not allow them as it is unhealthy.
Soha and Ayush come asking for a day off at school as they want to watch their favourite animated movie. Dev agrees, Soha says she wants him and Mumma to join them as well. Dev says they can’t as they have to attend a party. Soha says why can’t they come to the party. Ishwari says their party is very boring. We will have our own party at the house. Dev goes to Sonakshi and closing her eyes takes her upstairs. He surprises her with a beautiful dress. Sanjana packs a gift for Dev. She says she will dress so nicely that everyone will be amazed. Her friend notices that she has matched her dress with Dev’s so asks if Dev won’t notice it. Sanjana says she wants Dev to notice her. Dev tells Sonakshi about the tablet deal and says hence to celebrate that they are throwing the party.
Dev tells her that Sanjana has organised it and its 90’s theme based. Sonakshi asks if it is not too much as she is new. Dev says he said the same things but she insisted and Vicky is helping her. Dev tells Sonakshi he feels bad for not taking her to the party last time so wants her to enjoy it now. Sonakshi says they both will enjoy it. Dev says not Rahul and Pooja. At the party Dev plays the guitar, Sanjana is mesmerized by him. After playing the guitar he walks towards her and praises her hard work. She compliments him and says Rahul is her favourite film character. Vicky comes and asks Dev about Sonakshi, he says she has some wardrobe problem. Sanjana thinks that Sonakshi won’t be coming and gets happy.
Sanjana tells her friend that Dev will now have only one perfect partner. Someone says the name Sona, and Sonakshi enters. Sanjana is not happy to see her. Dev is happy to see Sonakshi and goes towards her. Sonakshi talks with Natasha who praises her for her look. Sonakshi thanks Natasha as because of her advice she and Dev could come closer. Natasha says it’s because of their love they are still together. Sanjana bumps into Sonakshi and spills her drink. She says someone pushed her from behind and apologises. However, Sanjana compliments Sonakshi for her outfit.
The host begins the party saying they are going to travel to the past. Jitin enters and says a movie dialogue. Sonakshi says what is he doing here. Dev hugs Jitin and says she is the special guest for the party. He says when he was away from Sonakshi for seven years Jitin was beside her like a loyal friend. Sanjana wonders that in their ten years relationship they were away for seven years. She thinks it’s a weird couple.
