Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 22 May episode starts with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) questioning Kartik (Mohsin Khan) if he has got any information as yet on the jewelry thief. Kartik throws stuff around in the room and tries to express his frustration. Naira understands his trouble and comes forward to hug him, after which Kartik weeps.
Naira motivates him but Kartik says he has lost all hope and nothing could be fine now. He then remembers what Akhilesh had alleged about Mihir and fumes up in rage. Kartik asks Naira to continue with her work so that she can at least shine in her profession even if he goes down after this fiasco.
Naira argues that she wanted to support him in this difficult time but Kartik gets rude with her and asks her to walk away. Naira then approaches Mihir and asks him if he is going to make jewelry for Kartik’s clients but Mihir says he refused the order. Pretty soon, whole Goenka family is pointing fingers at Mihir but Naira comes forward to support him.
The whole family doesn’t trust Naira but she still says that falsely doubting on Mihir and losing sight of whoever the real culprit is. Kartik is furious with Naira but Naira still says she completely trusts Mihir. Meanwhile, Manish comes to know that the client is throwing a case on Kartik.
Mihir has visited the chor bazaar and Kartik is shocked to hear that, so he reaches there to catch him red-handed. Mihir is there asking someone to give Goenka’s jewelry over in his hands but just then Karti snatched the bag mid-way.
