Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 5 June episode starts with Mitali saying that she had seen Mihir and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) leaving the room back to back, and Naira’s clothes were crumpled. She got inside the room and saw the earring. She cried and stated that she is a lawyer and nothing is more important to her than proof. She is also aware of his ego getting hurt in that moment. Kartik (Mohsin Khan) shouted at her to go away from there.
She said that he likes to pretend to be great and doesn’t care about your wife cheating. Kartik said that he doesn’t care what she says since she doesn’t trust her boyfriend like he trusts his wife. After Mitali saying that he was doing a great mistake, he asked her to leave. She left and Kartik went walking.
Naira left in the car. He imagined her and smiled. ‘Rahatein’ plays… and just then he saw her with Mihir. She hugged Mihir, seeing which Kartik got angry, and that is when his imagination ended.
He left in the car. He didn’t see Naira passing by in the car. They both came home. He saw Naira. She asked him where he went. She thought the doctor didn’t confirm yet. He thought she wanted to tell him something.
Dadi asked where he was since pooja is starting and everyone is waiting. Kartik thinks he shouldn’t ask. Mihir is in his office. Mitali comes to him. She says he had spent time with Naira and was missing her again. He said to her to stop spiralling since he’s busy. She held his collar.
He said Naira is just his colleague. She said that he is lying and the truth is out in the open. He asked her to stop or it’ll ruin their relationship. She told him to watch his steps. He said to do whatever she wanted to do. Suwarna asked Naira where her earring was. Naira said she doesn’t know, maybe it fell somewhere. Kartik had earring in his hand. Everyone sat for puja. He got Mitali’s call.
He told her to not call him or else he will tell Mihir. Meanwhile, Pandit told a story of Sita’s purity. Kartik called Mitali and begged not to call him. Mitali said it will be her last call, she is sending him a CCTV footage. He said he didn’t want to see it. She said maybe he can’t face the truth, this is his Agnipariksha.
Kartik saw Naira and recalled their moments. He said that he knew Naira can’t do anything wrong. He checked the video.
He got shocked seeing Mihir and Naira leaving from the room. ‘Maine socha bhi na tha’ plays…. He saw Naira. Naira wanted to go to him. Dadi asked her to take aarti. Naira did the aarti. Kartik said to Naira that he has seen the footage. Naira didn’t hear him. He asked her if she is listening. It started thundering.
