Today’s Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke 28 August episode starts with Kunal and Kuhu reaching the Maheshwari house for their pag-phere ritual. Kuhu lied that she was content while Varsha wondered why Kunal was not talking much.
Mishti (Rhea Sharma) was delighted to see Abir (Shaheer Sheikh) and came downstairs. Kunal got uncomfortable seeing them. Kunal said he wanted to attend some urgent work. Abir went in Mishti’s room by making an excuse. Abir continued to ask about her boyfriend while Mishti continued to ignore his question. They got close and shared romantic moments.
Mishti said if Abir got successful in finding out about her boyfriend, she would agree to go on a date with him. Kunal tried to compare his marriage to a business deal. Mishti kissed Abir on his cheek and just them Rajshri called out for them. She came in the room and Mishti got worried to see her lipstick stain on Abir’s cheek.
