Versatile actor Deepak Wadhwa who was last seen in shows Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Gangaa will for the first time be part of a mythological, with Sony TV’s popular show Vighnaharta Ganesh (Contiloe).

Deepak will essay the role of Rakhtabheej, an asur who would be granted the boon by Shiv (Malkhan Singh) that when every drop of his blood would fall on the ground, there would be a new asur that would be born out of it. This will be a trick of Rakhtabheej to create his own huge team of asurs.
When contacted, Deepak confirmed the news to IWMBuzz.com saying, “Yes, it is true that I have taken up a mythological show now. Though it is a brief role, the character is very much interesting. I have been carrying a problem on my shoulder owing to which I have been forced to keep away from my gym activities. Hence I have maintained a lean stature and probably this did not put me in the league for mytho roles. I am happy to have got one and I am enjoying the role.”
