Good looking and talented actor Gurpreet Bedi is enjoying her stint in ALTBalaji show, Dil Hi Toh Hai.
Says Gurpreet, “We have dropped ten episodes of Season 3, and are shooting for the rest which will stream very soon.”
Was season 3 delayed? “Nothing as such, just that producer Ekta Kapoor and Shobha mam will not start anything till all the departments are raring to go.”
Talking about her character Gurpreet says, “I am thrilled to have got some many different layers to play in one show. Reeva first hated Palak (Yogita Bihani), calling her a gold digger for falling in love with her brother Ritvik (Karan Kundra).”
“In the second season, she also was angry at father Vijaypath (Bijay Anand) for getting her married to house help’s son.”
“But now in the third season, she is love with her husband. Interestingly with Ritvik going in a coma, she convinces her bhabhi to marry stepbrother Vikranth (Paras Arora). But now, with Ritvik back, she is trying to guilt-trip her into staying with the second hubby.”
“I love working with Karan, both being Punjabis, we joke a lot on set. Even Yogi (Yogita) is a sweet gal.”
Gurpreet says this show has brought her in the centre of attention. “Fans are loving my work and also wanting to know when will the remaining episodes stream?”
Before this, she was doing Paramavatar Shri Krishna on &TV, “But I had to quit as the makers could not adjust my dates with ALT.”
Gurpreet has been around TV for a few years doing various shows such as Shapath and Laut Aao Trisha.
Looking ahead, Gurpreet wants to continue doing good work, “The medium is not important.”
“Apart from juicy tube roles, I would also love to do South and Punjabi films (as I know the local culture)as well.”
As for more web, “I am not cut for totally bold stuff. Kudos to the girls who can pull it off, but I am not comfortable.”
