Sara Ali Khan is currently on cloud nine and how. She’s one of the most popular divas of the gen-next of Bollywood and has quite a blockbuster start to her career. However, it wasn’t always as hunky-dory as how it looks like. It is to be noted that Sara earlier suffered from PCOD which had taken a toll on her overall health and wealth. From weighing close to almost 90kgs to looking the way she is now, the journey has been phenomenal. But how did Sara achieve it? Today, we reveal it all.

Once in an interview with Hindustan Times, Sara was quoted as saying,

“I went to Columbia for four years and at the end of the second year, I decided that I really want to act, like I said I have always known, but that realisation coincided with the weigh scale saying that I’m 96 kilos. So, it was a bit difficult. Then it was the senior year of college in America itself that I lost the weight. I was a regular kid. It made it very hard for me to a. lose weight and b. the hormone level was very high. So, as you can see, there is a level of delusion that was in me…I was confident, I was delusional.”

So what diet and workout plan does she follow?

Breakfast: She loves having idlis, egg whites, bread toast in breakfast.

Lunch: Her lunch consists of chapatis, dal, salad, fruits and vegetables.

Snacks: For her evening snack, she has a bowl of upma to keep her feeling full and energised

Dinner – Chapatis, Dal & a thick soup
