Kashmir Files, the film directed by Vivek Agnihotri has created a rampage of sorts with regards to the kind of money it is making with its huge success. The Kashmir Files is based on the 1990s exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from Kashmir and the genocide that followed and witnessed the brutal deaths of hundreds of innocent Kashmiri Pandits.

Recently, Abhishek Bachchan who will be seen in the film Dasvi was asked about his opinion about the film The Kashmir Files. His reply was interesting enough and got good feedback from the twitter family. A report on this was put up on menxp.com and take reference from that story for our write up here.

in the words of superstar Abhishek Bachchan, The Kashmir Files was a success because it was a legit ‘good film’.

In an interview with Times Now Navbharat, Junior Bachchan gave his unabashed view on the film The Kashmir Files, and while many are calling his take on the movie ‘diplomatic’, Twitter is by and large impressed with what he had to say.

He goes on to say how people will inevitably watch a movie only if it’s good.

“You were talking about The Kashmir Files. We’ve been talking for two or three days that you should politicize it, you should communalise it, that’s your opinion, but if the film isn’t good then it won’t work. There is no other reason for it to work. You can derive different meanings and ripple effects from it. Yet it is not for me to speak because I have not seen the film. But I haven’t heard from anyone that it’s a bad movie.”

That is the only truth of cinema. If a movie does good business-wise, it has to be a good film, else it won’t work,” concluded Abhishek Bachchan.

Here are some of the twitter comments to his reaction.

Well, so true this fact!!
