K-pop has been around for many years and has been evolving ever since. The adoption of futuristic motifs among the visual themes that have surfaced has always been fascinating, especially in light of the anticipation of how the world develops and how closely these cinematographiques resemble predictions of the distant future.

In this grand love story, VIXX makes use of artificial intelligence. The main character of the story is Hongbin, who succeeds in his endeavor to create a cyborg version of his deceased companion. The happy ending for the pair is sadly cut short when a bunch of men in black threatens their reunion. To carry out such a delicate surgery in a world that vehemently opposes it seems to have been a mistake.

Earlier films from Alexa largely dealt with artificial intelligence. This song gives the impression that she is fighting different iterations of herself, each of which has a unique robotic characteristic, some of which are more unsettling than others. The artist is adhering to her “Do Or Die” motto while fighting for her life.

Kai’s solo debut is nothing short of astounding, and the setting he picked for his music video is ideal for the concept of cutting-edge technology. The idol’s background depicts a futuristic city with flying cars, drones, and plenty of plugs nearly everywhere while he is serenading hearts and rocking dances. Add to that Kai’s glitching, which resembles high-quality holograms when he appears and vanishes mid-performance!

2NE1 takes things a step further by presenting us with both a post-apocalyptic and a future reality. Citizens are being recruited into a virtual program that offers a life similar to heaven. Further cutting them off from reality, they put them to sleep and plugged them into a virtual but far from a real paradise. The foursome works together in this music video to put an end to this charade and send the populace home.

Futurism is the overarching concept of SM’s newest female group, which is made up of half AIs and half human members. Given that, it makes sense if they incorporate snippets of it into each of their music videos. With their most recent return, “Girls,” the band’s members are shown as players in a metaverse-style game where their survival in the actual world is at stake.
