Tomorrow X Together, commonly referred to as TXT, is a five-member Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Music. TXT debuted in March 2019 with The Dream Chapter: Star. Their album peaked at number one on the Billboard World Albums Chart and also on the Gaon Album Chart, entering the US Billboard 200 at number 140, and at that time becoming the highest-tracing album by any male K-pop group. Stray Kids, on the other hand, is a South Korean boy group formed under JYP Entertainment. This group was formed through the survival program with the identical name Stray Kids surprise release for their Mixtape Project titled “Mixtape: Oh” on June 26, debuted atop Billboard World Digital Song Sales for the very first time.

One loves TXT’s concepts, and how they live up to TXT’s name, Tomorrow by Together. Their songs can be cute, cheerful, and quirky like Crown and Cat and Dog. Stray Kids on the other hand has very diverse genres and can go from cute and cheerful to heavy rock music. TXT is quite good on the Billboard charts, however, Stray Kids are strong in streaming and remain to have a very strong fan base. Stray Kids was in fact the fourth most-streamed K-pop group, after BTS on YouTube in the US in 2020. TXT definitely remains more popular in Korea and Japan right now. However, Stray Kids can quickly become famous if they manage to get more recognition in the West. TXT, therefore, seems to be more popular than Stray Kids as it dominates almost all Asian countries while Stray Kids remains dominant over Western countries.
