A quick glance at BTS’ repertoire reveals their dedication to developing and producing their own songs. BTS has made it a point to share their own tales and experiences via their songs since their debut in 2013, and each member has participated in the creative process in order to do so. V, for example, has contributed to the writing of several of BTS’ most popular songs, including “Run,” “Hold Me Tight,” and “Stigma.” As a member of BTS, he has a handful of solo tunes, but he has also recorded a couple on his own. All of BTS’ V’s solo songs never fail to capture fans’ hearts, thanks to the combination of V’s deep, calming voice and his touching lyrics.

V’s admirers like him because of his sincerity, passion, and general work ethic. He’s already released a slew of projects with BTS, but he’s been surprising fans by releasing numerous solo tracks in advance of his impending mixtape. Fans should expect an emotional project if his first album is anything like the songs he’s shared thus far.

Until that day comes, ARMYs may listen to these three tunes over and over again.
