TWICE- The Feels

TWICE has done it again, transporting you to the late 1990s. The girls have recently returned with a music video that takes from “Mean Girls” vibes (outfits and scrapbook spotted!) and a typical high school prom. The prom queen can be seen sitting on her crown while students take over the dance floor. The song itself would be a great prom groove to get the crowd going.

EXID- Lady

All praise the throwback concept queens! EXID may have released this gem a few years ago, but you’ll believe they’re transporting you to the 1990s. The girls go full hip hop in this one, complete with matching clothing, dance, and setting.

NU’EST- Love Me

The cinematography, particularly with regard to various technological equipment and the drive-in theatre, which was still a reality back then, is the main hint of the 90s era. Obviously, fashion is a crucial indicator that, when combined with the prior clues, provides the audience with a lovely recall of that era.

Yubin- yaya (me time)

During the 1990s, there were two main ways for teenagers to spend their evenings: sitting in their beds or hosting crazy parties when their parents were away. Yubin’s perfect representation of the period in this music video leads us to believe she comprehended the assignment.

Jeon Somi- DUMB DUMB

Jeon Somi transports us back three decades in this rom-com-style music video, in which she narrates a darkly humorous high school “girl seeks boy” scenario. The plot has all of the normal adolescent movie clichés as well as the sense of fashion seen in the late ’90s and early 2000s, and Jeon Somi plays the role of the main character who does everything she can to pique her crush’s interest and, eventually, his heart.
