Alastair Cook is one of the former cricketers from England who has broken several records, over worldwide. He is one of the best international left-handed batsmen and also a former captain of the England cricket team. He has led the team in a number of Tests and One Day Internationals (ODIs). He has a batting average of 45.5 in Tests and 36.4 in ODIs. His batting skills and techniques are super awesome to score a high number of runs in a short span. He is even praised by one of the renowned former Indian cricketers, Sunil Gavaskar as, ‘15,000 Test runs and 50 Test centuries are not beyond him’.

On the other hand, Shikhar Dhawan is a marvellous Indian cricketer. His stability, consistency and outstanding left-hand batting skills make him a perfect sportsman. He has got over 17 centuries in the ODIs with a batting average of 45.1. He has got 0.6 in Tests as a batting average. He has been an excellent left-handed batsman. His batting strategies are fabulous. Dhawan has ruled the T20 series with his enthralling performance. In the 2015 Cricket World Cup, Dhawan has been the player with the highest runs of 412. His hard work and dedication to the game are what make him great.
