Every son should be like Siddharth Nigam: Vikas Grover

Candid chat with Vikas Grover who is part of SAB TV’s show, Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga.

Vikas Grover, who is leaving no stone unturned to enchant audience as Gulbadan in SAB TV’s Aladdin – Naam Toh Suna Hoga, has all praises for co-actor Siddharth Nigam, who plays the titular role of Aladdin.

“Siddharth is an amazing actor. He is like a younger brother to me. His charm and persona is fabulous and yet is a very down to earth person. Siddharth loves his mother unconditionally. Every son should be like him. He is truly an inspiration for many,” shares Vikas.

Talking about his journey so far in the series, he avers, “It has been a fantabulous journey. However, initially when I was approached for the role I was scared to take up such a role as it was different from the characters that I have played earlier. However, it was also an opportunity for me as an actor to take this as a challenge and prove myself. Hence, I agreed to do the series.”

He further adds, “I had heard and read about Aladdin during my childhood and I used to love the stories. I was excited that such a series is coming on TV and now I am equally happy that I am part of this show.”

When asked about his preparation for the role, he says, “The character that I am playing is a narcissist. I have to behave in a certain way which is a challenge. I also had to put on weight to look good and fit on-screen for the role. I am still working on my body.”

Vikas, who was also part of web-series Maaya 2, wishes to explore the platform more as he believes it is creatively satisfying for an actor.

We wish him luck!
