Hiba Nawab, the talented actress, who is all set to entertain fans in her new show Woh Toh Hai Albela on Star Bharat, talks about the real significance of women empowerment on Women’s Day.
She says, “I believe that even though we are living in a male-dominated society, if a girl determines to do something, she can definitely achieve it. I started my journey at a very young age. I come from Bareilly, a small town in Uttar Pradesh, and belong to a Muslim family, so this journey was very difficult for me as a girl, but the role of parents is very big here. I would like to say thank you to those parents who always make their children feel safe and would like to ask all of them to trust their daughter. By doing this you will not believe that she can do magic but yes your support is very important. I consider myself very lucky that my parents always supported me, due to which I am in front of you today.”
She further added, “TV is such a medium which is also called as a women-oriented platform, in such a situation our responsibility increases as the character played by us is seen by people of all age groups. In such a situation, people learn and follow by seeing us. Therefore, it is our duty to always support the right through our character.”
