Shabir Ahluwalia is a name that is recognised for more reasons than one. He is an actor par excellence, who is known in the industry for this immense talent, acting chops and brooding looks that bring the X-factor to every character.

He is recently portraying the character of Abhi in Zee TV’s Kumkum Bhagya and we have to say that he has brought a whole new layer to make his character complex and well-defined. Everything from playing a doting son to the once angry and now a little mature and sobered down husband, to being the lovable father for this daughters, Abhi has been there and done it all on the show, and with the utmost of grace.

When he made his debut with the show Hip Hip Hurray, television viewers had suddenly found a diamond in the rough! The spark this actor carried was simply hard to miss and right then, television lovers were certain that Shabir would go on to do great on the silver screen.

Even though his debut was much appreciated and recognised by the industry and viewers alike, it was Shabir’s role in Kahiin Toh Hoga that gained him the reputation and credibility as an actor that he deserved for so long.
