Neha Yadav who was last seen in a challenging negative role in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is happy and elated to be a part of the upcoming Colors show Thapki Pyar Ki 2. The show is produced by the same production house, that of Ved Raj’s Shoonya Square Productions.
Says Neha, “I can say that my role in Thapki Pyar Ki 2 is very interesting. It is quite in contrast to the kind of role that I played in Guddan. People can watch and understand more about it once it is on air.”
“I like doing all kinds of roles, especially the ones that challenge me a lot. I like it when the role offered is different from my personality. It makes me think and explore, add a lot of variations. I love going through the full range of emotions. I can be serious, funny, negative, positive; it just needs to be interesting.”
Ask Neha whether she is apprehensive of the negative image and of being typecast, and Neha states, “I have no issues playing the so-called negative roles. I think no character is negative or positive. It is the human mentality to believe that whatever we are doing is right and justified. The character needs to have a lot of meat in it”.
On her expectations from Thapki Pyar Ki 2, Neha explains, “My expectations from every role that I do is to be liked by the audience. I hope it happens again; I hope I can entertain them. Yes, I have high expectations as the concept is amazing.”
On the concept of the show, Neha avers, “I cannot let out much about the concept. There is already a big fan following for Thapki Pyar Ki. I am pretty sure that they will not be disappointed with what is on offer in Season 2 of it.”
