Being born and brought up in Pune, Dipika Kakar completed her early studies in her home town only. She gave her Central Board of Secondary Education exam and then graduated from the University of Mumbai. After completing her studies, she worked with Jet Airways for 3 years but quit it because of health issues, but it was her turning point as she went to the entertainment industry.
Dipika Kakar went on to debut on television with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi where she portrayed the role of Lakshmi. Her journey from 2011-17 was splendid as she was seen in Sasural Simar Ka, and then a dance reality program Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8 and also, was seen in Nach Baliye with Shoab Ibrahim. She was also recognized in Bigg Boss 12 which started in October and ended in December and guess what, she emerged as the winner of the season!
Dipika Kakar married her Sasural Simar Ka co-star Shoaib Ibrahim in the year 2018.
Recently, she was seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum in 2019 opposite Karan V Grover but the show ended. To talk of the income, according to the media reports, Dipika Kakar has a net worth of approximately 1-5 Million Dollars.
