Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has been a very popular and successful show on Star Plus. Produced by Balaji Telefilms, the show was a huge hit initially with actors Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel playing the leads.

In the roles of Ishita and Raman, the two of them looked good together and also gave power-packed performances.

The show had a good run of almost six years.

There are few things that we want to list out which made us love Yeh hai Mohabbatein all the more.

First of all, the pairing of Karan and Divyanka was unique and the two of them indeed suited the roles that they played. Karan as the rough and tough Raman Bhalla and Divyanka as the gentle Ishita won hearts. They looked their roles and above all, they matched to perfection the Punjabi (male lead) and South Indian (female lead) backgrounds in their roles.

Secondly, The love story of Raman and Ishita was one unusual one which started on the grounds of the two of them being the complete opposites, who were deep down pushed by family responsibilities.

Thirdly, the most defining aspect for the show’s success we will say has been the chemistry of  Raman and Ishita. They sizzled in every romantic scene and excelled in every emotional scene together. Their love saw all the ups and downs of life and withstood the sorrows of separation as worries.

Fourthly, the generation leap of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein brought in a new cast that had Reyaansh Vir Chadha, Abhishek Malik, Abhishek Verma, Krishna Mukherjee and Aditi Bhatia. The four of them again had outstanding chemistry and the younger generation cast was given a solid track to bank on with Raman and Ishita being solid pillars.

Above all, the show went off the air when the loyal audience wanted more of the show. And this is indeed a good sight and note for the makers to end on. This high in the storyline facilitated the makers to make a spin-off on the cult show which runs today as Yeh Hain Chahatein.

So kudos to the team of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein!!
