Today’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 16 May episode begins with Komolika (Hina Khan) trying to stop Vikrant but he doesn’t pay heed and decides to go and say it all to Anurag (Parth Samthaan) anyway. Komolika plots to kill Vikrant in a road accident and hires a goon to do so. Meanwhile, Anurag and Prerna (Erica Fernandes) get locked in the storeroom. Prerna gets claustrophobic and faints.
Anurag screams for help, but no one comes. Anurag is left with no option, but to give her mouth to mouth breathing. Prerna gains consciousness and a delighted Anurag hugs Prerna in happiness. Just then, Nivedita enters and finds Anurag and Prerna locked in each other’s arms. Nivedita couldn’t believe her eyes. Prerna gets anxious and rushes out.
Anurag follows her to explain what happened, but Prerna asks him to give her some space.
Vikrant calls Prerna to check on her location. He tells Prerna that he has discovered something wicked about Komolika, and he is heading home with the evidence. Prerna tells him that Anurag and the entire family is at home. He should hurry up. Vikrant’s car gets hit by a truck, while he is talking to Prerna.
Vikrant handles the bump neatly and comes out safe. Prerna asks him to drive properly and hangs up. Vikrant starts his car and drives very carefully, Komolika’s goon runs over him. Vikrant gets badly injured. Prerna tries to reach Vikrant, but couldn’t. She tells Anurag about the incident. Anurag and Prerna head for look for Vikrant.
Komolika learns about the accident Vikrant had and leave to check. She is delighted to see him soaking in his blood and starts looking for the evidence he had spoken about.
