The Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 episode starts with Baa telling Gehna to kick Kanak out of the house as she no longer belongs here. Kanak grabs Gehna’s feet and requests her to tell Baa to forgive her and not kick her out of the house. Kanak says she is a bahu of this house and will not make the mistake again. Gehna says mistakes can be forgiven and not sins. She says Kanak did a sin by making Baa clean her sandals and making Bapuji work. Gehna says she would have forgiven Kanak if she would have harmed her but she harmed the whole family. Kanak hits herself with a sandal and shouts it’s her punishment. Gehna tells her to stop her drama as they will not fall for it.
Gehna orders Kanak to leave the house at once. Jigna says Gehna can’t throw Kanak out as she is the eldest Bahu of the house. Pankaj says Kanak is no longer bahu of this house as he is breaking all the ties with her and hands over divorce papers. Jigna takes Kanak and goes. Baa tells Anant and Gehna to step out of the house. She performs their aarti saying the house is her temple and they have got it back. Anant gives property papers to Bapuji. Bapuji says a light returned to their life like on Diwali.
The family decides to celebrate by decorating the house as they do on Diwali. Gehna watches stars from Anant’s telescope, Anant asks what she is doing. Gehna says she fears something bad will happen again, so she is watching stars. He says she is too good and nothing wrong will happen now. Anant kneels and tells Gehna that she always supported him and his family and he never thanked her. He says they were united with elders but now he wants to unite with her by his own will. Gehna accepts it.
Later Baa and Bapuji perform God’s aarti. Kanak returns with Women NGO claiming that the family members threw her out of the house as she was unable to pay dowry. Kanak says they physically abused her and shows her fake injuries. Gehna tells the NGO members that Kanak was the one who tricked them and took over the house and made them all servants. She tells them that Kanak’s injuries are fake. Activist says they don’t know what happened in their house, so she will appoint a special officer to solve the case. Radhika is shown as the special officer
