Today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 3 July episode starts with Naira (Shivangi Joshi) and Kairav returning home safely after the chaos at the exhibition. Kairav missed his dad. Naira thought of Kartik (Mohsin Khan) and missed him. Naira’s friend took care of her. Kairav asked why dad didn’t come home. They tried to make excuses. Kairav didn’t think this was true. He told them that his dad wasn’t so busy as Naira thought. He wanted to know where his dad was. Naira got emotional on hearing his talks. She gave her phone to Kairav and asked him to call his dad to talk. She cried feeling it was destined and she couldn’t stop Kairav from finding his dad. She wished that Kairav met Kartik. She thought maybe it was fate that Kartik came back on their lives. Kairav messaged Kartik and asked him to come home since his mum wanted to meet him. Kartik got ready to meet them.
Naira thought Kairav will be heartbroken on knowing the truth of his fake dad. She was also broken within after seeing Kartik. She fell into a dilemma. Kartik messaged Kairav that he was coming to meet him. Vedika lied to Dadi that she didn’t know where Kartik went. She told Dadi that Kartik left for an important meeting. Dadi apologized to Vedika. She asked if Kartik told her something. Vedika told her that they had a friendship between them and she couldn’t take Naira’s place ever. She told Dadi that she could know Kartik as a friend. Dadi wanted Kartik and Vedika to get married. Naira went to the exhibition venue and missed Kartik. She wondered why he came to Goa. Kartik reached her home to meet Kairav. He thought he will have to clear Kairav’s misunderstanding and break his heart for his betterment. He wanted to end the sweet bond he had with Kairav so that Kairav didn’t get more false hopes. Naira didn’t know why Kartik came in her life now when he doubted her at the time of her pregnancy and distanced her so much. She got upset over the past.
She loved Kartik a lot. Kartik felt a strong bond with Kairav and regretted to end it on a bad note. Naira fell weak after spotting Kartik. She didn’t want to lie to Kairav more. She regretted that Kairav’s real dad was close and even so she was making him meet the fake dad. She was angry that Kartik doubted her and ruined three lives. She felt Kartik was responsible for Kairav’s longing. Kartik met Kairav and gave him happiness. Kairav got happy and hugged him. He showed his family drawing. Naira got the same tarot card and didn’t feel like she will get something she longed for and she lost before. She threw the card and didn’t believe so. Naira’s friend met Kartik. He thought she was Kairav’s mom.
She cleared his misunderstanding. Kairav told him that she was Naira’s friend, who took care of her. Kartik asked for Kairav’s mom. Kairav asked him to wait until his mum came. Kartik feels Naira’s presence in the house when he saw a tigress toy. Naira left for home. Kairav told Kartik about the event at the exhibition. Kartik thought to leave. Kairav didn’t let him go and play football with him.
Naira thought Kairav could never meet his real dad and it was better that he stayed happy with his fake dad for time being. Naira reached home and decided to make the fake dad away from Kairav soon. She happens to see Kairav playing with Kartik. She got a big shock on seeing Kartik playing with their son. She recalled their good moments and turned happy. She felt her dream had turned true. She dreamed and joined them to have an emotional moment. Naira felt Kairav’s fake dad was his real dad. She thought of how destiny played this game with them. She couldn’t believe such a big coincidence. Naira watched them secretly and got overjoyed seeing their bonding. She hid from Kartik since she couldn’t face him.
