In today’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Kunal tells everyone that he should leave now and meet Abhimanyu some other day. Akshara asks Kunal if the checkup can’t happen today. Kunal says that it can happen today but Abhimanyu might be exhausted and they can diagnose it tomorrow. Manish says that they are going to come for Abhimanyu early but they got stuck in an event. Anand decides to put up the diagnostic setup in Abhimanyu’s cabin. Kunal is astonished to hear that Anand will send Abhimanyu to him at sharp 10:00 am. He enquires as to whether or not the Birals will not celebrate Rakshabandhan. Anisha says that Abhimanyu’s hand has the first priority and they can celebrate Rakshabandhan later.
Neil claims that this is the first time someone is giving such huge importance to Raksha Bandhan.
Then in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kunal tells that it is the purest form of brother and sister relationship celebration. Everyone is overjoyed as Kunal will treat Abhimanyu. Manjiri claims that Kunal is like God to them. Kunal requests Manjiri to stop addressing him as God and to allow him to remain a person. God, he continues, is never greedy, but occasionally humans do. Kunal insists Abhimanyu rest well. He praises Akshara’s vocals and says that after a long time, he claims to have heard a pleasant voice.
Then Akshara and Abhimanyu converse in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. They become delighted thinking Abhimanyu will rush to the OT as soon as his hand is fine. Both become animated. Manjiri claims that Kunal is a good human being. Harsh adds that he did not mention fees as well. He claims he is pleased with Abhimanyu’s decision to return for surgery. Manjiri corrects Harsh that Akshara’s efforts were what cleared the path for Kunal. Manjiri and Harsh decide to observe a fast in support of Abhimanyu after he recovers.
Later in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Anisha and Akshara cross paths. Akshara remembers Anisha having a meeting. Anisha distracts Akshara’s meeting by saying that the success of Abhimanyu will be her best gift for Rakshabandhan. Anisha asks Akshara if she wants any help. Akshara kept quiet. Abhimanyu is concerned about his hand. Akshara gives Abhimanyu comfort. Kunal diagnoses Abhimanyu. Akshara is tense for Abhimanyu. She prays to God for Abhimanyu to have courage. Akshara promises to stop doing her favorite thing for Abhimanyu’s successful outcome
Lastly in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Harsh and Anand wait for Abhimanyu. Kunal checks the report. Abhimanyu queries Kunal over the outcome. Kunal reassures Abhimanyu that there is a 99 percent chance that his hand will be out of danger. Anand, Akshara, and Harsh are joyful to hear this. Kunal will treat the one percent and Abhimanyu will be fine. He asks Abhimanyu to refrain from stress for the next four days since he will conduct surgery as soon as possible. Abhimanyu and Akshara rejoice. Suhasini takes offense when she sees Anisha wearing a lehenga. Akshara overhears someone asking Anisha to meet them.
