Film Producer and eliminated Bigg Boss 11 contestant Zubair Khan, who was recently in the news for his run in with Salman Khan in the ongoing Colors show is claiming a major victory.

“A court has accepted my private complaint and has instructed the Lonavala police to look into my complaint against Salman and Endemol Shine for mental torture. Salman had humiliated and threatened me only because I was against co-contestant Arshi Khan who was denigrating a Sadhu. Interestingly while he got upset at my calling Arshi a 2 rupee woman (I still stand by that) he did not get bothered at all by the gay slurs which were hurled at Vikas Gupta,” said Zubair to IndianWikiMedia.com

I have full faith in the judiciary – Zubair Khan on his complaint against Salman & Endemol getting accepted 1

Taking our readers back to the incident where Salman abused Zubair, Salman had expressed his angst against Zubair and had threatened him on national television, which had made Zubair so low in esteem that he had taken sleeping pills.

Post his elimination from the house, Zubair had lodged a complaint in which he had mentioned of Salman’s unruly behaviour towards him. Antop Police Station had then forwarded the complaint copy to Lonavla Police Station is what we had learnt then.

Talking further about his mental state and the proceedings after lodging complaint, Zubair said, “The last one month (post eviction, he challenges the voting process as well) has been tough, for the police was not ready to register my FIR maybe under pressure from some certain quarters. Hence I was forced to turn to the judiciary. Even now I am getting lots of threat calls to withdraw my case especially against Salman.”

Zubair who was once a producer with Endemol further added that standing up for the truth has cost him lot, “My new film is stuck as distributors are refusing to do business with someone who rises up to Salman. There is a silver lining to this otherwise dark cloud, many girls come up to me for photos for they know the truth. Also the online views of my last film Lakeer Ka Fakeer starring Ajaz Khan have gone up. I still want to patch up with family (wife and three kids) and that was the reason why I first went in to show my good side. But sadly my in-laws are creating hurdles.”

Zubair is ready for the long haul. “I have full faith in the judiciary. Now finally the whole truth will come out as Endemol and Colors will need to submit all the tapes to the court and who said what (during my stint) will be open to all.”

“It is time someone stood up against Salman. The industry needs to be freed of this nepotistic hold of a few. I fully support Kangana Ranaut, she is right, if you don’t beg and grovel before the biggies, you will not get work,” ended Zubair

In closing Zubair also said, “Endemol also needs to pay for false-linking my name to the Parkar family. Had I been, would I have not used it to promote Lakeer Ka Fakeer back when it released.”
