Lalit Modi, the former IPL chairman, made headlines after confirming his relationship with former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen in an Instagram post. Many people on social media were pleasantly surprised by the couple’s news, and they greeted them with congratulations. Many people are curious about Modi’s love life and historical marital status.

Modi has always kept his personal affairs private. Before he made it public on social media, there was no information about him dating Sushmita either. Since Modi confirmed that they would be married in the future, things between him and Sushmita appear to be serious. Earlier, Modi was married to Minal Modi, who died in 2018 at the age of 64 after a battle with cancer.

Before marrying Modi, Minal had a relationship with Jack Sagrani, who lived in Saudi Arabia but had previously worked for Indoor and Lakshmi Shivdasani’s Inlaks. Jack Sagrani used to travel from Nigeria to London and had previously been married to Minal. Sarani spent several months in prison in Saudi Arabia after falling for a scam while Minal was expecting. Even after his wife gave birth to their daughter Karima in London, he was unable to see her. Later, she relocated to Delhi after giving birth in London.

The mother of Modi, Bina, was supposedly an acquaintance of Minal’s in Delhi. Lalit Modi and her frequently interacted. But when they got married in 1991, there was a lot of discussion about their age difference. Modi and Minal were ten years apart in age.

With Modi, Minal had two children. In 1993, the couple gave birth to a girl named Aliya, and in 1994, they welcomed a son named Ruchir. Minal had a cancer diagnosis sometime in the 2000s. After a battle with cancer, she passed away in 2018 at the age of 64.
