So, what’s the latest update coming from their end folks? Well as per the latest media reports in Hindustan Times, Actors Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Anupam Kher have been given upgraded security cover by the Maharashtra government. The same has been done after an internal assessment revealed severe threats to them. Salman Khan has been given Y+ security by the Maharashtra Government whereas, on the other hand, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher have been given X category security. For the unversed, this means that both of them will now have three security officers in shifts protecting them. The report also states that the cost of protection will be borne by the celebrities themselves. While Akshay has been given high security after threats issued to him on social media, Anupam has been given the same after the threat he had post the release of the film ‘The Kashmir Files’.
