“You really start to learn what we would lose with 30 percent of the honeybees disappearing,” Angelina said to Vogue, while she was busy with the inaugural graduation of the French beauty brand, Women for Bees initiative.
The program is to train 50 women beekeepers from different countries over five years. The program is led by UNESCO and OFA.
Angelina Jolie, who becomes an active part of the program, hopes that such will encourage people to save the bee population, for bees are responsible for one-third of our food supply. And she also spread the message while talking to Vogue that it’s not just to train yourself as a beekeeper, one can also plan bee-friendly plants and flowers to save them, or just spread awareness online.
