Lata Mangeshkar is a phenomenon in addition to being a vocalist. By recording 50,000 songs in 18 languages over the span of her 92 years, the late Indian singer shattered records as the most-recorded musician in history and educated her audience on spirituality and history while singing of love in all of its wonderful and terrifying forms. She never appeared on film, but when the actors’ voices were substituted, her voice was clearly audible. The “Nightingale” label was given to her.

Lata Mangeshkar, a legendary singer who sang the catchy song Lag Ja Gale for the 1964 movie Woh Kaun Thi, is happy that the song has been around for 75 years and claims that it still sounds new. The tune was picturized on Sadhana and Manoj Kumar and was composed by the late Madan Mohan.
