The most popular girl group of the century took the world by storm with their most awaited live concert. We are talking about none other than K-pop stars Blackpink.

Their first-ever live concert called “The Show” has been making rounds over the past few months. After postponing it for a month due to an ongoing pandemic, Blackpink finally presented its virtual gig on 31st January via YouTube.

According to Soompi, the Blackpink live concert “The Show” brought in over 280,000 viewers. Becoming YouTube’s major breakthrough as it brought in tons of money and viewership. The show was streamed exclusively on YouTube, access was given only to paid viewers. The show was one night only but YouTube will broadcast it eight more times. The ticket for the virtual concert was priced at $30-40. Blackpink reportedly earned around $10.5 million for the show.

The Blackpink members Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo, and Rose performed some of their biggest hits like Kill This Love, DDU-DU DDU-DU and Boombayah. The members also took the stage to do solo performances. Rose sang her first-ever solo song “Gone”.

The show was a huge success, Lisa and Jisoo took the Blinks by surprise when she rapped to Doja Cat’s Say So and Jisoo sang the cover of hit song Habits (Stay High).
