Ben complimented Lopez for being an inspiration to many people, and he expressed his admiration for her and the influence she has had on the world.
When speaking to AdWeek about Lopez’s work and how she has inspired countless women of color who look up to her, Ben Affleck had the loveliest words to say about her. Affleck praised her for serving as an inspiration to others around her, revealing how representation matters and saying,
“I’ve seen women of color approach Jennifer and tell her how much her example as a strong woman who succeeds and demands her fair share in the business world means to them,” according to AdWeek. Affleck went on to say that he’s “in awe” of the impact she has on the world when asked how he feels about her.
Affleck went on to say that while his films may move people, JLo’s contribution has been on a far higher level because she has motivated people to feel like they have a seat at the table in the country.
