Blackpink’s Jennie is showcasing her talents with ‘The Weeknd’. The K-pop sensation will be in the “Out of Time” singer and HBO Max’s upcoming show, The Idol. In the first trailer of the series, she appears as a dancer.

Performing beside lead Lily-Rose Depp, K-pop star Jennie was spotted several times in the teaser in dance rehearsal scenes.

Her first appearance was with other background dancers forming artistic shapes around Lily-Rose. Next, Jennie made her presence felt in a distressed gray crop top and black shorts which is wholly absorbed by the intricate hand movements of a different dance. Towards the end of the trailer, Jennie was seen switching choreographed steps with airy free at a party.

Precisely, Jennie is seen at duration timings 0:28, 0:33 and 0:59 mark in ‘The Idol’ teaser.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the premiere date for ‘The Idol’ has not been declared yet. In April, HBO mentioned that they will adjust its cast and crew to fit in a new creative direction.

‘The Idol’ featured stars such as Troye Sivan, Steve Zissis, and Juliebeth Gonzalez who will be in the supporting roles along with The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp in the lead. Sam Levinson produced the show which is a story of a rising pop star in Hollywood who becomes entangled in a rather sordid relationship with a club owner. She also happens to be a leader of a secret cult.
