BTS’s J-Hope was recently assigned the INFJ personality type after retaking the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) questionnaire. Only 1.5 percent of the global population has this personality type, making it the rarest in the world. Check out some of J-Hope’s characteristics below to see why this distinct personality type is a fantastic fit for him! People with the INFJ personality type have strong convictions that they live by. J-Hope has made it clear that he wants to help fans and have a positive impact on the globe. INFJs frequently seek greater significance in life and, as a result, devote themselves to their interests.

J-Hope mentioned that his music and art coincide with his ideals of trying to deliver a positive message of consolation to followers while expressing the significance of his music from his mixtape Hope World. INFJs are typically referred to as the “guy for the job” since they take charge, work hard, get things done, and have a strong work ethic. In his line of employment, J-Hope is assertive and decisive. When J-Hope is at work, he gets right to work and takes his job seriously, as evidenced by his frequent meetings with staff when making Artist-Made Collection items. INFJs, with their strong work ethic, typically push themselves to accomplish their best and can be harsh on themselves if they don’t meet their own standards. These “workaholic” characteristics can be shown during times like the COVID-19 pandemic when J-Hope revealed that he felt pressured to work even when he was supposed to be resting.

J-Hope spends so much time honing his skills, whether it’s dancing for hours or making music, that putting his all into everything he does and pushing himself to be the best version of himself comes easy to him. This isn’t to say it’s simple, but he believes the end product is well worth the work! Some INFJs may appear outgoing, yet they listen more and speak less than others think. This is especially true of J-Hope, who, while he may appear to be his bright image on the outside, has an unending array of distinct and complicated features on the inside that make him far more than meets the eye. He is a selfless and humble leader who pushes from behind rather than pulling from the front and always listens to everyone first. INFJs are often in close and meaningful relationships with those they love because they are extremely sympathetic to others’ emotions. J-Hope values his friendships and is always willing to lend a hand to those he cares about. He does everything he can for his members and friends, from giving real advice to supporting their solo projects.
