Recently, many stunning celebs gathered to celebrate the last 365 days of music at the 2022 MTV VMAs, in New Jersey.
Red carpets are basically famous for its colourful glitz and glamour, but this year it was a decided to have a monochromatic theme. This made many of the A-list celebrities walk the red carpet in black or nude shades.
But, despite the black-and-white colour palette, the stars looks were very interesting. From Taylor Swift in sparkling Oscar de la Renta, to the four Blackpink stars in elegantly matching looks, here are some style highlights from the evening:
Firstly, Taylor Swift was seen bringing a dose of sparkle to the MTV VMAs this year, in a nude Oscar de la Renta mini dress curled-up in draped strings of crystals.
Next would be the Korean Girl Band, Blackpink. Each of the members in the band, brought their unique style game to the VMAs in similar black outfits – with Lisa in Celine trousers and train, Jisoo in floral Dior, Jennie in a Chanel two-piece, and Rosé in a Saint Laurent mini dress.
Also, talking about the “Call me when you want” singer, Lil Nas X, he arrived at the event wearing a statement-making Harris Reed look, which had a feathered cage skirt over trousers, and a matching headpiece. He looked absolutely dapper in the fashionable ensemble.
