EXO is a South Korean-Chinese based out in Seoul, with nine extremely talented individuals, Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai and Sehun. The band is under SM Entertainment and was formed in 2011 and it debuted in 2012.
Their music includes pop, hip-hop, and R&B, with electronic grooving music types like house, trap, and synth-pop. EXO performs music in Korean, Mandarin, and Japanese. The band was positioned as one of the main five most impactful big names on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list every year from 2014 to 2018, and have been named “the biggest boy band in the world” and the “Kings of K-pop” by the media.
EXO has won honours and awards for their albums. EXO’s 6th collection Don’t Mess Up My Tempo is their most elevated outlining album on the US Billboard 200, debuting at number 23. It is additionally their best-selling album with over 1.9 million copies sold in South Korea.
