The fact is, you can make beach tunes sound whichever you want. Although steel drums and ukuleles may be the first to come to mind, other sounds can also make you think of a wonderful day at the beach. Synth sounds, gospel piano, timeless ’80s tunes, and even EDM beats may be the driving force behind summertime songs. The words of a beach song can also vary; they might be carefree, dance-y, melancholic, or just plain catchy. The ideal soundtrack will turn a summer vacation from a fast weekend break into a place you can call home for the rest of your life, whether you’re spending it with your significant other, a group of friends, or by yourself.
