Blackpink is one of the most well-known 3rd generation female K-pop groups in the world. They have quite a massive fan following all over the world! There even are quite a few newer K-pop groups that hold quite a lot of respect for their sundaes and their music.
IVE is a very new six-member girl group, that debuted back in December 2021. They have got quite a positive response from their first single album Eleven. This rookie group from Starship Entertainment recently shared a video on their YouTube channel that has everyone buzzing with excitement. The group posted a cover of the solo debut track of Jennie from Blackpink, Solo.
Rei, the group’s rapper, had previously covered a snippet of the song, Solo during a ‘Role Model Cover’ video. She had covered a bit of Jennie’s part of the song. The new video that they released on their YouTube channel gave IVE’s fans a chance to see Rei cover the rest of the songs.
Fans agreed that the song is timeless and has been covered by quite a few bands. IVE fans were quite enamoured by the cover and commended the arrest for her skills calling her an ‘all-rounder’. There were quite a few fans who were impressed by the cover and even commented as much in the comments.
