Wishing the idol for her birthday occasion, the official Instagram page of the Blackpink female K-pop band shared a post. The post featured Jisoo’s stunning, fierce photo and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Jisoo of Blackpink.”
Even before her debut in Blackpink, Jisoo became a hot topic in the headlines. The singer made cameo music videos for k-pop, brand endorsement, and TV appearances. Also, she began her acting journey in 2015 with the South Korean drama The Producers. She was even approached to join rival label SM Entertainment when a manager tried to recruit her at a concert.
Jisoo was the third in her band to be introduced officially. Blackpink members were introduced with a week-long launch of photos focusing on their style before their summer debut.
