Lisa of BLACKPINK may have a slew of adoring fans, but it doesn’t mean she isn’t a fan of someone else. “Are there any artists or colleagues who make you jealous?” she was asked in an interview with Rolling Stone. Instead of being envious of another singer’s abilities, she has a role model. This is none other than Rosalia, a GRAMMY Award-winning Spanish soloist best known for songs like “MALAMENTE,” “Con Altura,” and “LA FAMA.”

Rosalia’s unabashed embrace of her culture and reflection of it in her music is one of Lisa’s favorite things about her. She emphasized that Rosalia incorporates Spanish sounds and pictures into her work, allowing listeners to instantly know her homeland. Lisa did her hardest to include her own Thai culture in her solo debut track, using Rosalia as inspiration. This was significant to the BLACKPINK dancer since she had noticed over the years that many of her fans mistook her for a Korean woman rather than a Thai woman.

Rosalia and Lisa have made their admiration for one another public. The former declared her affection for Lisa in an interview with Radio Disney. Lisa, on the other hand, recently updated her Instagram Story to thank Rosalia for her present.
