Jin’s military Announcement

Kim Seok Jin revealed last month that he would join the military on December 13. According to the South Korean news agency Yonhap, the Astronaut singer will spend five weeks at the recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do. Following his training, he will be sent to an army frontline unit.

Overall, he will serve for 18 months, and other BTS members, including RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will follow in his footsteps. Before reconvening in 2025, the gang will complete their required military duty.

Earlier, BTS’s management company, BigHit Music, stated Jin’s military duty. “Jin will serve his mandatory time with the military by enlisting in the army,” according to the announcement.

We ask that you continue to love and support Jin until he completes his military duty and returns. Our organization will also try to offer him whatever assistance he requires during this difficult time. It was over.”

Meanwhile, sources indicate that military officials would go over and beyond to safeguard Jin’s safety during his enrollment at the military training camp. Jin made his solo debut in October before returning to his responsibilities to his country with the track The Astronaut.
