BLACKPINK also known as BLINKS is a popular K-pop girls band. The team comprises of Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo. Recently, the fans were excited to learn that Blackpink have officially joined Weverse. The platform already hosted K-pop bands BTS, TXT, Hyphen, and SEVENTEEN, among many others.
Recently, the members celebrated their 5th debut anniversary with an OT4 V Live chat with fans As per reports in The Independent SG, Jennie revealed that the famous point dance in ‘ddu du ddu du’ was not part of their original choreography.
According to the original choreography, the girls would hold their hands out instead, with palms down flat while moving them left and right. The members also revealed they were the ones who changed this to the gun-shooting move on the day of the MV shooting.
The girl band debuted in Aug 2016 with their debut album entitled Square One. Each BLACKPINK member co-writes and co-produces their own music.
