BTS was asked to choose one of their songs that “could express BTS” in a recent question and answer session on their YouTube channel. BTS’s recent anthology album PROOF gives fans a glimpse into their tremendous history to date, so it would be challenging to pick just one song from their vast discography, but they did their best. The song that best captures the artistic persona of BTS, in V’s opinion, is “Yet To Come.” V believed that the song “Yet To Come” is a good depiction of the group due to references to BTS’s discography in both the music video and the lyrics. It makes sense that Suga struggled to select just one song to best capture the essence of BTS.

First, he said that as they capture BTS’s sound, “We Are Bulletproof PT.2” and “MIC Drop” are good choices. The song that, in Suga’s words, “made [BTS] famous” is “Dynamite,” on the other hand, he adds. In light of this, he believes that BTS’s artistic essence lies halfway between those three songs. J-Hope chooses “For Youth” as his response, following V’s lead in doing so. J-Hope reveals that, in his opinion, BTS’s ongoing relationship with the ARMY defines them, and that song in particular, “For Youth,” embodies their appreciation for their followers.
