If you haven’t been living under a rock, you probably already know how popular Korean beauty is. And Koreans are incredibly serious about skincare! The world has been swept up by Korean beauty trends, which range from essences to moisturizing sheet masks. Behind the glass, Koreans also tend to set fashion trends. It is a skincare fad in which the face appears to be made of glass because it is so luminous. A little over the top, but some Korean beauty tricks can genuinely make your skin look more like glass.

In addition to drinking enough water and utilizing certain at-home cures, maintaining a healthy, glass skin-healthy diet also requires the use of the proper skincare products. In light of this, the following are several at-home cures for glass skin.

[1] Rice water to the Rescue: The advantages of rice water extend beyond the plate! In reality, Korean skincare regimens have included fermented rice water for years. According to a 2013 National Institutes of Health study, fermented rice water boosted the skin’s ability to produce collagen, which keeps skin supple and delays the signs of aging.

[2] Yuzu lemon face mask: The goal of glass skin is to revitalize and make the skin look young. Japanese yuzu lemon is a common ingredient in K-beauty products. Antioxidant protection that supports anti-aging and revitalizes the skin for a young appearance is known to be present. For the face mask, you’ll need 1-2 tablespoons of Greek yogurt, 4-5 fresh strawberries, and two drops of yuzu essential oil.

[3] Drink barley tea: Barley tea is just one of the teas that Koreans adore. Antioxidants and fiber found in abundance in barley tea help to rehydrate and revitalize the skin. It is packed with amino acids that support collagen, which gives the skin structure and flexibility.

[4] Sleep with an overnight mask on: Your body increases blood flow to the skin as you sleep so that you can wake up with healthy-looking skin. While you sleep, your skin cells generate collagen and mend the skin. Treat your skin to an overnight mask to aid in the restoration process.
