Tony Kakkar is from Uttarakhand and moved to Delhi with his family. He along with his two sisters, Sonu Kakkar and Neha Kakkar used to sing at the jagaratas and were paid 50 bucks for their performances.
During 2004 along with his sister Neha Kakkar, he moved to Mumbai. And he used to go with her for her song recording. And that is when he learned how to compose music. And as a practice, he used to make demo CDs of his works. And that’s when he got lucky. It was Pooja Bhatt who heard his works and suggested him to meet Bhushan Kumar, the owner of T-series. And it was there he got offered his first song. He has also worked with his sister Neha Kakkar and the duo are amazing together.
Also coming from a musical background, Tony Kakkar had a lot of potential in him. His two sisters, Sonu Kakkar, and Neha Kakkar were already very prominent in their works and very well known.
He also started singing and has sung many hit songs like Dheeme Dheeme, Coca Cola, Ludo, Mike Ho Tum and many. Not just singing, he has also composed many popular songs like Ek Do Teen Char, Mohabbat Nasha Hai, Khuda Bhi and there are many to the list.
