This time as well, expectations were high from the squad. However, a disappointment in the quarterfinal of the World Cup didn’t help their cause by any means.
After a 1-1 leveller in the 90 mins duration, Croatia managed to defeat Brazil 4-2 in the penalty shootout stage. Well, as per reports, Neymar is so hurt that he might not be seen in Brazilian colours again.
Honestly, I do not know. I think talking now is bad because of the heat of the moment. Maybe I’m not thinking straight,” Neymar, who wll turn 34 at the time of 2026 World Cup, said.
“To say that this is the end would be rushing myself, but I don’t guarantee anything either. Let’s see what happens going forward.”
He further added,
“I want to take this time to think about it, think about what I want for myself. I will not close the door to playing with Brazil, nor do I say 100% that I’ll come back.”
