The Hockey World Cup 2023 is finally here and well, we can’t keep calm. Unlike other years, this year, the expectations are really high from team India. Not only is the World Cup happening in our own country, it is also extremely special because Team India have off-late been in good form in the sport. In the recent pant, team India have brought enough glory to the sport and this time too, expectations are high from them.
The opening game was held between India and Spain and guess what ladies and gentlemen? India had a solid start to the tournament. They begun their campaign with an impressive 2-0 win against the mighty Spanish aka Spain. The entire team came together really well and it was Amit Rohidas who was adjudged to the man of the match. After that, they played their second game against England which eventually ended up 0-0. It was a thrilling match indeed as no side managed to let the other topple over them with good, consistent gameplay.
