If his inflation-adjusted career earnings are considered, the total amount of money Michael Jordan has earned since turning pro in 1984 is estimated to be $2.62 billion. Surprisingly, only 6% of this total comes from his playing contracts with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards.
The estimate includes earnings from salaries, endorsements, licensing, memorabilia, and ongoing endorsements with brands such as Nike, Gatorade, Hanes, and Upper Deck, even in his retirement.
