A really amazing and wonderful update coming in for all fans and admirers of Sania Mirza.
India’s very own ace Tennis sensation Sania and Mate Pavic of Croatia managed to overcome the fourth-seeded pair of Gabriela Dabrowski and John Peers to reach the semi-finals of the mixed doubles event at Wimbledon.
The Indian-Crotatian, seeded sixth won 6-4, 3-6 and 7-5 in a close battle on court 3. Given the fact that Sania is retiring after this season and it is her last Wimbledon, she must certainly be very glad of her achievement. Here’s hoping she can go forward and win the final as well to ensure another Grand Slam in her career.
