Making her first appearance in a World T20, Jemimah controlled her nerves playing the ideal supportive role to the familiar Kaur, who was at her forceful best all through the innings. She also became the first Indian woman to score a century in the T20 innings. She also became the only Indian player to score more than 150 points. India crushed Pakistan by 17 runs in the last T20 of the Women’s Asia Cup. Indian ladies defended their title which they won in 2012.
