Suryakumar Yadav has been India’s hidden talent, the player has been proving his worth in the Indian Premier League by consistently scoring runs for the Mumbai Indians.

The Indian right-handed batsman was born on September 14, 1990, and made his T20I debut against England on March 14, 2021.

He replaced Ishaan Kishan for the 4th T20 (Ishaan was ruled out due to injury issues). Surya grabbed the opportunity with both hands as he stunned the fans with his amazing 57 runs in just 31 balls, having hit a half-century in just 28 balls. The International Cricket Council (ICC) tweeted to wish India’s Suryakumar Yadav for scoring his maiden T20I on his international batting debut against England.

Suryakumar hitting six of the first ball he faced, showed his confidence and took the game away from England. India was struggling with 75 runs and 3 wickets down which completely changed after Surya Kumar’s innings.

However, Suryakumar was unfortunate to have been given out in the fourteenth over even after multiple replays of Dawid Malan’s catch off Sam Curran by the TV umpire. A piece of the ball appeared to have contacted the ground yet the TV umpire did not go against the on-field umpire’s choice because of the absence of convincing confirmation.
